Colts & Fillies ~ General Info


Mission Statement
Pembroke Colts/Fillies section is devoted to creating an honest, safe, friendly and supportive environment for young people between 6 and 16 years-old to learn and develop their team and individual hockey skills. Players are coached to respect the game, coaches, team mates, opponents and officials whilst developing a sense of competitiveness, team camaraderie and sportsmanship. Pembroke coaches aim to provide a high standard of coaching that creates a positive, fun and challenging experience for each player.

Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club strives to create an environment where opportunities for excellence exist, healthy competitiveness encouraged, friendships are forged and a sense of fun and enthusiasm for the game of hockey is fostered.

Natalie Fulton

Natalie is embarking on her 3nd year in this position and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Club. An experienced South African international,she represented her country at the Athens Olympics, 2004.

Natalie is coach to the Ladies' 1st team and is also Pembroke's Club Development Officer.
Children's Officer & Designated Person
The IHA have recommended that each club appoint a Children's officer. This person will manage all activities and issues in relation to young people at club level. Shireen Dallas has been appointed as Children's Officer in Pembroke. It is also mandatory that each club appoint a Designated Person who will be responsible for reporting any concern about the protection of children to the Statutory authorities. Natalie Fulton has been appointed the Designated Person. In respect of these positions should anyone wish to make a report or complaint, it must be in writing and addressed to either Natalie or Shireen. It can be emailed directly to them or posted to Pembroke Wanderers Hockey club for their attention.

Coaches / volunteers - we need you!!
Interested in Coaching or just helping out?? Opportunities exist for parents to become more involved on Friday evenings & Sunday mornings. Why sit in the car-park when you could be out in the open air having fun. Assistants will be working with Natalie and other Pembroke coaches in a fun and rewarding environment.
