Pembroke had an excellent start to the season, seeing off Monkstown 3-0. Smart passing between midfields and forwards and great marking in the back meant Pembroke controlled the majority of the possession. Ellen Kane bagged 2 deflections for the home side and Ella Mcgrane finished it off in the second half. Dame of the game had to go to Jordan Kelly up front tearing up the Monkstown defence. A great start to the season.

Cracking game which good have been won by either side, a draw being a fair result! Amy Elliott had two assists with Laura Buckley and Sarah O’Dea scoring their first goals of the season. Girls played a great match considering they have never played together as a team before today, wonderful start to the season. Thanks to Marc Elliott for umpiring!
